When map making in a place with loads of objects, the object editor tends to select things behind the object you're clicking on.
Eg. You are looking at a pillar and there's a tree behind it. You click the pillar, but end up selecting the tree.

On another note, love the object-back-up feature. It's nice to know all your work isn't lost when something goes wrong with your computer :D

I have no good solution for that, it's because selection is done through bounding boxes. Just move close or click from another angle

Ehh moving close doesn't work. The object can fill up the entire screen, but you'd still end up selecting the objects behind it. I guess I just have to do loads of twisting :\

^ this shows the problem more clearly. It's a problem in the upper levels of the map since there's tons of giant pillars.

Try clicking closer to its base

The crystal will only select if there's absolutely nothing behind it. Otherwise, if there's something behind the spot being clicked, that will be selected. Twisting appears to be the current solution, although it becomes hard when a spot becomes filled with objects.

It's supposed to select the first thing the ray hits, ogre is being dumb, dunno why.
