Map Ideas!

That has bad idea witten all over it, at least in my opinion

 

As unlikely as this may be I'd really like to see some sort of test map.
Yes I know there is a test map that is admins only but I mean like a map that is like a test map.
You know, checkerboard floors, random out of place items like stair cases and polygon objects, NPCs you can't talk to (or maybe in this case you can) and other cool stuff.
The kind of test maps I am thinking of are like the one from the game Kirby Air Ride and Paper Mario (the original one on N64)

So help me if Rika's test map isn't like that I am gonna make my own. >:T

Man I really would love a western map as well as that night-time map. If I recall correct the latter is in the works, it's the one with the fireflies yes?

A club or rave map would be neat, I know a lot of IT severs have them so why not us? I wanna rave with a glowing cat!

 

There are many rave meshes you could use snug, it could be great.

 

and the prey could be a bunch of dancing animals, that drop glowsticks and other rave items xD

 

Water is a pain to resize, that's why I needed your help with temple of dreams.

 

I have some more map ideas.

1. an island/tropical map with a village. Perhaps you could get like a flower lei while there.
2. A Native American type map.
3. Aztec type map.
4. African type maps.

Idk, I've always been a huge fan of tribal stuff.

 

Adding to the night time map thing- a cabin hangout type place. There are a bunch of places to sit and gather around. A nice little camp fire outside. Summertime night sounds. Just a warm, happy, safe place to get together and chill and chat. Maybe you can get a marshmallow on a stick item. That would be cute.

I also love the idea of a creepy map. Dense forest, scattered tomb stones, fog covering. And maybe not THAT much prey, like a lower spawn rate and more spread out but super creepy so that when you do run into them, they scare the bejeezus outa ya. And a gravedigger npc that gives quests that are a little odd and can be rather disturbing if you think about it. I don't know. Just throwing out some ideas!

And then there's the castle idea. It's one that's easier said than done, but the result could be fantastic. I don't know the game's lore, but I'm sure we could squeeze some kind of fortress in there, either with a monarch that gives quests or a powerful boss that stalks the grounds. Anyway, I agree with the others that suggested it.

A farm/country map. With farm animal prey and a barn and big crop fields with pesky rabbits and deer to chase away.

So, here's my thoughts on new maps- the more places and maps we have, the more varied the player characters can be. With so many different places, there's so much more you can add to a character's background or story. An adventurer from Alpine Valley, an knight outcast from the king's court, a deck hand from Pirate's Port, a thief from the shady village. The more maps, the more possibility. I'm so hyped to see what everyone comes up with!
