How do I texture a player model that is placed in a map?

    I tried the normal method you use to recolor meshes like

    [Object]
    body2.mesh
    1373.52 15.6196 783.075
    12.448 12.8376 10.8133
    -0.651119 -0.749359 -0.0720964 0.0964732
    true
    RockSnow1

    Yet it was still textured
    I know this method works with other items like waterfalls and fakechaoswater but I don't know why it won't work for player models.

    Am I doing something wrong, how do I go about this?
