Wrong Code

Hello everyone!

I've decited to make my own preset, i followed the tutorial here and now i'm confused because i followed every step right.

Code:

this is what my .material looks like.
when i want to check the preset in game my Charakter is always white.
so the texture isn't the problem.

What did i do wrong?

can you please provide a screenshot of the files in your preset folder, I would like to see what you named your textures.

Hmm, coding looks like it checks out.

Question though, is the file containing the coding still a .material file?
It might've somehow got turned into a .notepad++ file instead when you saved it.

 

It is still a .material file.
I've deleted it yesterday completly and made a totally new one, still my charakter welcomes me with a pure white skin.

 

I'd double check for typos, and make sure the textures didn't get corrupted.

 

I will redraw the texture in gimp maybe that will work

 

does your computer have file extensions shown? is it definitely saved as
littleamadeus_sol.material and not just
littleamadeus_sol with no extension?

 

I've remade everything and now its working.
I just need to add his mane and tuffs.
Where do i find the Blank mane thinks..? If you know what i mean

Canines do not have mane UVs at this time, though thankfully felines and horses do.
However there are no tuft UVs period so you are out of luck there.
