Weapons?

I tried looking for this answer, sorry if this is a repeat question ;;

Anyways, are there weapons that you can use if this game? I was wondering because I found a Bloodied Sword and I wasn't sure if I can use it or not.
If not, it'd be awesome if you could

 

The reason items don't give stats is a simple one, I can tell you however I have heard a leveling system is planned so that should make up for it.

If you mean having you character swinging the sword then that would be silly, imagine a horse/dog/tiger trying to swing a sword!

 

I thought I had heard it was going to be added much later in the game's lifespan, I don't even recall where I heard this or how long ago.

It might look silly haha. It would be helpful though if it gave extra damage.

 

If items gave stats you'd have the same problem dragon's den has where items people would be wearing multiple types of swords and armor and it would look like a mess. Besides not all people WANT to wear unwanted items just to have good stats. Better no stats then a system like that.

 

I haven't played Dragon's Den, but I can imagine. If everybody wore the items, we'd all end up looking the same. You could take it off, but then that would get annoying.

As for stats, I notice that when you make a character there is a Attributes table? Maybe there could be a way where you could raise your damage with this?

edit: I guess what I'm saying is basically a leveling stystem ^^
It's fun to training character! I can see potential with it being here in this game.

 

Most IT servers have that stat table, not sure if they plan to expand on that further though.
