Solved Laggy cursor

    the game lags so much that i can barely move my cursor around. i tried both openGL and direct3D9 and still the same issue. i also tried downloading the newest directX and microsoft visual c++ 2010 redist, but that seems to not resolve my problem. help please? i really want to play!

    I don't think anything is wrong with the game. Maybe your computer/laptop can't handle it? Or have you tried turning settings off like water reflection? Or grass but that is unlikely.

    my pc is pretty damn new, i got it yesterday so i'm 100% sure there's no problem with it running smoothly. also, turning off those effects does nothing.

    New is not the same as good. Is it only the cursor?

    Go to the data\Settings.cfg file and change WindowsCursor = true to WindowsCursor = false

    as i said, pc runs smoothly anyways. not only the cursor, even though it is the main thing. the title that appears after opening the game also moves really slowly. i tried changing windows cursor, but it didn't do anything. i also experimented with changing the cursor's sensitivity. still the same.

    What about other games then? Sounds like your new computer doesn't have a decent GPU.

    my pc's gpu is amd athlon tm dual core processor 5050e. hm, checked some other games. seems there is a problem with my computer after all. case closed, i guess.
