    Wouldn't it be cool if our mini map worked like FeralHeart's?

    Like you know, showing the height map under the arrow so you can see where you are in the map?


    I have yet to see an IT sever do that so I'm not sure if it can be done but it would make exploring a lot easier and more fun (in my opinion)

    How do you not know XD just zoom out and follow a portal. Mygod, its like getting lost in a maze with only going 1 way

    itsfinemygodleaveit as long as you know where a portal is, ye dont need to see the landscape. Like what if turns out really ugly. O and not to mention that since this Server has multiple layers, how would a map like that work

    wot about me ):

    i did ask myz about this a while ago, but he kinda just shrugged his shoulders. personally, i don't want a heightmap map like with FeralHeart - I think there could be a separate navigation system of opening up a tab with a much larger image of a heightmap or a fully drawn and labelled map. Using f3 and zooming out tbh is a good system and the mini-map we have now is fine for the majority of people!

    After reading that, i was thinking like a whole world map thing to plot point which land you are in, it could either be the whole world of DoE, or maybe just in the map you are, showing less than detailed but simple enough to understand what is where and "You are Here" kind of thing..maybe? .O.

    yea, that would be really useful for new players as well. It's just the implementing LOL, we won't be able to show unlock-able maps either, perhaps a symbol beside a map that has a locked map and the quest for it.​

    Oh that's even better, I do know of another IT sever that is working on a map system a bit like that.

    I feel like the lock maps should probably be represented by a lock or have the icon greyed out with an X
