I'm just gonna make a sketch dump of things that I would like to see in the NPCs in the game.

Spoiler: Devilish Decors

This is an old picture. I'll make a revamped version of this if I am still able to (like if the design for Devilish Decors is already taken).

They look really interesting!

 

I adore that little griffin thingy with the angry little star puff.

As much as I hate to say it though I doubt these designs will make it into the game, and if so they'd be highly butchered.
I don't think you considered this game's low poly art style when designing these and I am more than certain they are over the 1000 poly limit.

C. Nari might have a chance though, however minus the cage on the head.

I mean, I could think of a ton of different ways the 3-D model would still look like the character drawn while looking simple enough. (Like disregarding the chest and body fluff and just making a semi-circle object with a transparency skin to still keep the cage)

But one of the things I really don't like about the game is how simple the designs of the NPCs/Bosses are, simply because they all start to look the same the more you look at them (I know that it's a style choice, but man does it become apparent after a while. o.o)

Aww, but the cage head makes them look su fun. >w<

 

I don't really agree the NPCs and Bosses look too much alike, (minus the dragons but that can be forgiven) plus simple designs are fun and easy for people to do fan art of.

I look at C. Nari and can't help to see how many polygons it would be, it would seem a bit wasteful to model a cage over the head just for it to be mostly transparent. Just think, those polygons could've been used to make the rest it more detailed.

 

FUCK I LOVE THESE, seeing everyone(2people) making these makes me want to make some,,,,ECK PLZ IF I MAKE THEM THEY'LL ALL BE CATS
