Out of all the dances in the land of IT Wingwave was always my favorite so I was heart broken to find it's broken here.

I can understand why though, wings are an item and coding it to be compatible with would have many problems.
This is why I'd just recommend just animating the player's actions and then rename it and just ignore the wings.

I don't think compatibility is an issue. The wings still animate with the other actions, as although they're items they still work the same as oIT wings.

Well no, the wings go stiff when fighting in the air or doing any action other than standing still. (not T Pose stiff like when you preview them in stores but still nonanimated) Hard to notice minus the air fighting thing but I have tested it and this is what happens. That and Rika has stated that the code for animated items is unfinished hence why this happens.

Wait, so they aren't like the wing items in Impressive Space which are connected to the animations and armature of the player model? Because they look like they are, otherwise they wouldn't stay on the back properly during certain animations.

correct, the wings we have are completely separate from the player model with their own bones and animations.

the wingwave will likely get replaced with another animation sometime in the future.

Okay but real talk, the wings going stiff while fighting in the air should really be fixed too.

    It really breaks immersion.
