I've been playing for an hour or so, and so far, I'm really enjoying this. Now, most MMORPGs have a combat triangle of some sort, and I can see that DoE has the potential to do it's own version of it, namely the default attributes.

    Default Attributes:

    Feline
    Health: -0.5
    Damage: -0.5
    Flying: 0
    Running: 0.3
    Swimming: 0

    Equine
    Health: -0.5
    Damage: -0.5
    Flying: 0
    Running: 0.3
    Swimming: 0

    Canine
    Health: 0
    Damage: 0
    Flying: 0
    Running: 0
    Swimming: 0

Personally, I feel that the stats would be balanced if each were given a buff in one and a negative in another, to create a combat triangle. For instance:

    Example Default Attributes:

    Feline
    Health: -0.5
    Damage: 0
    Flying: 0
    Running: 0.3
    Swimming: 0

    Equine
    Health: 0.3
    Damage: -0.6
    Flying: 0
    Running: 0.2
    Swimming: 0

    Canine
    Health: 0
    Damage: 0.2
    Flying: 0
    Running: 0
    Swimming: 0

These are just example attributes and probably not very balanced.

As you can see, the Feline is the fastest, the Canine is the strongest, and the Equine has the most health. Each "class" has their own penalties as well as their own strengths, and I think this should be addressed. As it stands, I think the scales are too partial to the Canine, but again, this might not even be the case for long.

Feel free to smite me if you don't agree! :D

I see horses faster than canines, and with better health honestly. (although these attributes are rather spot on)
While felines do not have brute force with just their mouths, they are faster and shouldn't have a negative impact on their damage.
Canines usually do not use their legs in combat and rely heavily on their mouths to clamp shut around something. Meaning, their damage shouldn't greatly differ? Given wolves can trot for long periods of time, they shouldn't have too big of a speed boost.

But, since this is in Alpha still, there's a small chance somewhere a long the way there might be a better class or species to fit in between the standard feline/canine (which is more tiger and wolf to a bit of my disappointment. Could've had standard feline and canine shapes?? eh.)

The feline models in-game resemble big cats. Any big cat - tiger, lion, cougar, leopard, ect. - is much stronger than a wolf or dog, so you would think that felines would deal more damage.
