Was playing and saw someone in a map I don't know where it is

    I clicked "friends" and there was someone in a place called Vaporwave Villa? I haven't ever found or heard of that place, nor can find any info?

    This game has a feature where users can create their own maps and share them, Vaporwave Villa is one of the many map I'm working on.

    Will player made maps be playable for others? Are you working for the team or just making the map for yourself and your friends?

    I always put my maps for download in the forum's custom map area when done.
    If I was on the staff it'd be on my forum profile, though I do get mistaken for staff a lot lol.

    Sorry all my dumb questions but how do you enter custom maps and can you play in them with friends? And if there is multiple downloadable maps does the portal to the custom maps work or is there multuple portals? And can you insert quests to the maps? Id assume no.
    Im now super interested in making a map haha

    Everyone is capable of making their own map!
    Depending on if the person chooses to post the download link to the map so that anyone can enter, you are unable to find the map in the game and only capable of seeing the map name on the list :)    ​

    on the side menu there's a button labled "my maps" click on that, and then click on the map you want to go to and you'll be teleported there!

    Sadly things like Quests, Shops, Prey and Portals can't be placed inside maps due to how easy that'd be to exploit. I do know you can make faux NPCs by spawning models of prey, pre-existing NPCs, player models or using the two animated meshes rika has made (the moving giraffe and the sleeping kitt)

    Oh okay, thanks for the info! If I decide to make a map, ill look up more info, maybe ask more in the correct forum n' stuff.
