large giraffe problem

    I've been doing the quest for Cross Stitch where you go to Solucida and kill 10 giraffes and 5 large giraffes.
    So I killed 10 giraffes, but I can't find any large giraffes at all. I even left the map and went back a few times so new giraffes could spawn, but so far I haven't found any large giraffes.
    I thought that large animals were rare but I wasn't sure.
    So I decided to work on it later instead of wasting time while I could be earning more gold, so I went to the desert and got the quest to kill hawks and large hawks.
    I found no issue in finding the large hawks though, they seemed to be everywhere. So is this some sort of bug, or are large giraffes just rare?

    It's not a bug, they are just only in a certain part of the map.

    you can find them near the large pile of rocks.
