An important decision

It's no secret that I LOVE this game, it's a nice breath of fresh air compared to other IT severs.

The lore, the prey, the maps, the easy UV for presets, the creativity in the models, the nice players and the non stolen items.

All of this is fantastic, however there is one this that has been biting at me.


The lack of manes.


Yes I understand that Rika has been busy working on other things which are more important like prey and items but then who will work on manes?





Yes, this game has inspired me enough to want to take 3D modeling classes.
To be honest I've wanted to learn for years but I had always just thought to myself,
"What's the point, it's not like I've need to learn it for anything"
Well no longer!

I may be signing myself for hell but screw it, I just love this game too much to care.
This and I'm homeschooled and I don't have anything else to do with my life.


Mom says I can start my 3D modeling classes when I am moved into my new room, however I don't know how long this will be,

What I do know is the Library holds free 3D modeling classes every Saturday.
(They also have a 3D printer that is free to use, totally gonna 3D print out the animal models for reference, that and those cute fox plushies.)

 

Good luck SparkleWolf404! I heard 3D modelling isn't too easy when you're starting out, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it with the Library classes and lots of dedication! ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ -=iii=<() ♫

I have huge dreams of how great this game can be, it's still in alpha but knowing how good it is now I know it's bound for great things.
I know it can reach greatness if people are willing to step in and help, one step at a time we can make this game one of the best IT servers out there or even better a game that could rival animal jam.

 

Ahhh manes. They were my job, and I have barely done anything since game release lol I'm not sure if the ones I have done have been removed or edited but if nothing has been done, some of the current ones will have crappy IVs so they can't have a texture. I very highly doubt I'll be doing anything about it soon but I'm hoping to start coming back part time by the end of the year!

 

The old manes have not been replaced yet but Rika would like them to be redone at some point due to the lack of UVs.

I honestly don't wanna steal your job but if you are gonna be unavailable someone's gotta help.

When you do get back to work on the game though It'll be nice having two people work on the same thing, I have gathered a LONG list of manes that need to be added (and some random personal stuff I want added too) and the more people working on them the faster it'll get done.
