Program can't start- d3dx9_43.dll missing

    And, I've have all the c++ updates and have Directx version 11 installed and running.

    Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled- can't get this to run. Runs on the office computer, but that's not too practical.

    Win7 Pro with Core2 CPU and 8MB RAM- this pos should run! Any ideas??? Thanks!!

    Yes. I read the threads thoroughly and did the following:


    1) Made sure I had up to date Microsoft DirectX 11 and C++ versions on my computer

    2) Uninstalled the non-working game, cleaned up all remnants with CC Cleaner and rebooted

    3) I downloaded a clean version of the game and reinstalled

    4) Got the same errors as before

    To be honest my dad made those posts so I have no clue why he didn't mention it. He did say this and I forgot to copy and paste this part "If someone who is a little more computer literate can assist, that would be great! Thanks in advance!!!"

    The error means you don't have things that's needed from DirectX 9, the instructions I linked should give you the required files and make the error go away. If that doesn't work then you'll have to find some other way to get directx9
