Alright so I downloaded the game a couple weeks ago and so far I really like it, especially since it's only in alpha mode (I'm pretty sure).

I have a few suggestions for the game though. I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned (I'm too lazy to go look through fifty suggestion threads) but the main two things I think should be added are: 1. Titles over the portals so you know where you're going. At the moment I have to memorize where each portal leads to... and it can be annoying if you accidentally end up going to the homeland and it's a long trip back to where you were. At least like, the names show up once you've been to the place or something, so there's still some exploring you have to do. 2. I think there should be some NPC models or something for the shops and quest givers. I know it's still in an early stage and maybe they were planning on doing so, but it's kind of weird to be talking to a floating diamond with no one actually there. It should be like that one area at the beginning where you talk to the skeleton NPC.

I really like the game so far, and these are just my suggestions on improving it a bit. Also another thing, when I start the game am I the only person that gets like a quarter of an image of glitched land or something...? I don't really know how to describe the image but I thought it was rather odd.

And another question that's kind of irrelevant to the thread... is there a flying ability in the game or something? Or an easier way of attacking flying creatures? Especially because in the Chaos map there's like floating land with a shop but it's way too high up (unless there's a portal up there).

    1) You can see the names of the portals actually, see that mini-map at the top right corner of your screen? The green spheres are the portals (use the + and - functions underneath the minimap to find some if it's blank), and if you hover your mouse over one you can see the map name!
    2) This would be super nice and I was hoping to have this when we were doing the game, but for now I think the diamonds are more than capable of holding the fort, as it were.

Perhaps you should screenshot that and post it in the Bugs & Glitches section.
Yep, add either the purchasable wings in Homeland or add invisible wings onto your character via the character creation. Press C to open those lovely wings and use space to go up, left ctrl to go down - another way is PgUp to go Up and PgDn to go Down.

    1) Oh alright I was unaware of that, thank you very much!
    2) Yeah the diamonds right now are fine but NPC models would be a nice addition later on in development.

    Alright I can do that.
OH okay that would make things a lot easier! Thanks again! :D

NPC models will be added eventually, I've already started designing a few of them! they're just not a priority right now it'll be a while before I actually get around to making them.

Also as a note, you can return to homeland at any time by clicking "home" on the actions menu and clicking "go home". you can also set another map as your home if you want.

That's good to know! I look forward to seeing them! :D

I was playing the game a lot today and I just figured that out, but thanks!

Okay I have another thing to add... after a while of playing the game, the main music gets kind of annoying. If I turn the music off though it just feels too quiet... (by main music I mean the main ambient sound files, not the other music unique to certain maps). I think there should be regular ambient sounds (like just birds or something, without music) separate from the music so if I want to turn the music off, there is still ambience. Or maybe you were planning on adding different background music to the maps?

For now though, am I able to replace the ambient music files with other files (just with the same names) or better is there a mod I can add for it?

you can go into Dawn of Eternity > Game > Media > Sounds and replace the ambient 1 & 2 files with something you like.
Though I completely agree and would love ambient/nature sounds.
